Bailey & Greer Response to COVID-19
The country is facing an unprecedented crisis, with new information coming out at all hours of the day. It can be difficult to keep up on the latest data and insights, and this uncertainty has contributed to increased stress for all people.
At Bailey & Greer, PLLC, our top priority is, and always has been, the safety and wellbeing of our clients and our community.
Yes, we are open for business. Legal services are listed as “essential services” per the City of Memphis. As such, Bailey & Greer is keeping its doors open to ensure that we are available to help. We are still working on our clients’ cases, and still accepting new cases.
Yes, we are taking precautions. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our team, our clients, and our community, everyone at Bailey & Greer is following the protocols laid out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). These protocols include:
- Staggered scheduling of clients to limit in-person contact
- Following proper handwashing techniques
- Disinfecting surfaces on a continuous basis, including doorknobs, desks and flat surfaces, and telephones
- Maintaining a proper physical distance from one another and from clients
Yes, we are offering remote consultations. We understand that for some people, avoiding all in-person contact is the best possible solution. We are taking steps to avoid face-to-face interactions when possible, by offering remote consultations via phone calls and video conferencing. We can also email documentation via our secure server, taking advantage of programs like DocuSign.
Yes, we will get through this together. We know that times are tough right now, and that it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We also know that many of our clients are still dealing with the fallout from the tornadoes and hailstorms that ripped through Tennessee in the beginning of March.
We want you to know that we will be here to support you when you need us the most. Together, we will make it through this latest crisis. We will continue to work hard for you now and in the days to come.
